STORMBRINGER

Hard storm is raging

As fierce winds waIl

Dark clouds are rolling on in

Thunderous echoes

Speak Faces of Hunger

Like ten thousand Cowhide Drums

Lightning strikes deeply

In flaming heart warrior

A soldier and hero for love

Wielding in valor

The brightest of shadows,

Ablaze in the darkness of Knight

****

Scarlet tears dying

In truth bleeding not

Sparked prisms of rainbow hues

Tainted with droplets

From Yellow Rose falling

Down off its Crown of Thorns

Sound at the Crossroads

Midnightingail Blues

A notion of twilight refrain

Sweet Mockingbird singing

Of Sonflower blossoms

Strewing dreams faithful of light

****

In brief calm beforeness

Peace somber abides

Like willow trees weeping in prayer

First whispers of rain

Ease soft dripping tunes

On Life's River faint splashing rings

Great sudden bolt flashing

Explodes through near sky

To shatter the silence profound

Like ice of a serpent

Death chills haunt a spine

With climaxing coldness of fright

 * * * *

Gales rampant prevailing

Hail treacherous roars

Relentlessly cleansing sustained

Through grace in recession's

Cocoon of withdrawal

In rapture faith refuge does find

Transfigured in glory

Awake at New Dawn

By God's Recreation set free

A soul born of Music

Ecstatically bound

On Wings of Revival takes flight
