Smokey Summit

Thanks for checking out the Smokey Summit Blues Menu.  This is an ongoing project in the beginning stages.  So far, the song recordings have been produced using only a cheap video camera.  No audio recording software and hardware are currently available.  Plans for the not too distant future are to a establish a home recording studio with hopes of creating some better music recordings. 

 

An array of original material is available, so in the meantime, more song recordings will be made using the camera.  Many of the early lyrics were written as poems and aren't well suited to actually singing the blues without cramming the words into the rhythm progression, so a touch of blues poetry will be included on the menu. 

 

Pursuit of the blues is a slow train rolling for such a musically challenged soul.  Perseverance and sacrifice never suffice without inspiration, and sometimes the well runs dry on the uncertain path.  Loosing the blues for even a short duration is a loathsome experience, and during recent months, financial distractions and temptations to compromise the creativity in the face of complete destitution have been steadily creeping in.  Please be patient and check back again.  Prayers and encouragement are surely welcome...
