Wall Removal
The first step in converting the living room and dining room into a training studio was removal of the short wall separating the two rooms.

No photos were taken while removing the sheetrock from the living room. The dining room side of the wall was plywood that was saved and re-used. This remodeling was a poor-boy operation.

An operation similar to this was done while working with another man on a contract job in Poteau, Oklahoma back - in 2002. However, coming up with a plan for hoisting the boards for the support beam while working alone took some creativity, but this task went smoothly using some clamps and wooden blocks to walk the long boards into position against the ceiling.
